ÚBEDA AND CAZORLA

Sol Kelleher, our language assistant, loves Andalusia. This time she has been to Úbeda and Cazorla with some friends and shares her photos with us. Listen to her presentation and read her comments about the places she has visited, what she has seen, and the food she has eaten. Hope you enjoy it and feel like visiting these amazing sites and landscapes of our Andalusian land:

HERE ARE THE PHOTOS WITH THE TEXTS BELOW FOR YOU TO READ:

Hello everyone. My name is Sol. Today, I am going to teach you about my trip to Úbeda and Cazorla in Andalucía.

I went to Úbeda a few weeks ago to visit a friend of mine who lives there. Her name is Elise. I also went with my friend Vivian. Here are some pictures of us.

Here are some pictures of Úbeda. It is a beautiful, small town in Andalucía. It is a lot different from Sevilla because it is a lot smaller. I enjoyed it a lot.

Next, you’ll some pictures of us hiking. I met a dog on the side of the mountain. We hiked for about 4 hours and ate some snacks.

Here are some food pictures. To the left is a meat dish. To the right is some bread. They call it Ochio bread, which means that is has paprika in it. I brought some home to eat it.

Here are some more food pictures. On the left, you’ll see blood sausage. On the right is different kinds of fruits like oranges, blueberries, and raspberries.

Here are some more beautiful pictures. My friend is really enjoying her time there. She is also an English teacher and works at a high school. We are friends because two years ago, I studied in Sevilla and she was my roommate. She is from Pennsylvania.

Here are some pictures from the hike. It was so beautiful:

This is a beautiful picture from the sunset from Saturday night.

Lastly, we took a picture today. That is me in the middle, Elise on the left, and Vivian on the right. Thanks for listening and happy day of Andalucía!
